It’s dead, we killed it. Not a fan of the encounter at all. The amount of times being clipped by blade rush or barrages, while being miles away we lost count. The amount of times we could clearly see more than 1 person in a barrage, yet die and the other player taking no damage was just absurd. It honestly felt like anyone with 150+ latency was forced into a zerg method. Great job on the encounter thought process, really good stuff. This kill came with the 5% buff, just before the 10% one. In honesty, I can’t wait for DS to end it just has not been enjoyable content. No photos, probably no videos, this fight just sucks.

Heroic Haaaaaaagggghhhhhhara

Impossible Noooooooo! Actually, quite possible. We took our first looks at Hagara last night and wow what a pushover. After expecting something a bit more challenging we entered with a gameplan and executed it perfectly after only a few wipes. Always nice to see things just fall into place, mostly bosses falling on their face. We would like to make note that we did not use any paladin bugs for our fights, we have not ever and will not ever use exploits. Oh we also didn’t use any taunt swaps for FA! Our makeup consisted of: Druid tank, dps warrior, rogue, lock, hunter, boomkin, spriest, dpriest, tree, rshaman.

Heroic Ultrasaur

Like all other flying bosses, Ultrasaur has been de-winged and dropped into the middle of the earth. This kill has been coming for a few raids in honesty. I had lost count on how many sub 5% wipes; so, it was really nice to kill him and move on to new and better things. Well done everyone on the past few raid nights of working out all the kinks and getting it done.

Heroic Fail of Go’rath

We did it, the mighty flail is dead. So, is the big guy that controls them all….. Mr Zon’ozz. The raid team proved to overcome even more obstacles as 3 members are going through real life moves, the rest of the time pushed on together and got a new boss kill. Ultraxion is still proving to be a slight pain with our undergeared offspecs and trials, but a handful of sub 10% wipes and he should die this coming week!
The rest of the evil beings inside Dragon Soul better look out, we are on a roll now.

Heroic Yor’vahj – NO TRANQ!

Only fitting that we go down Yor’vahj after just putting Mor’chok to sleep. Our first night of attempts on this, we hit the enrage timer. Though we were testing our written addon at the time and we were 3 healing for testing purposes. So, on Wedensday we headed straight in and our 2nd attempt had a 1% wipe at the enrage timer, it happens we tightened things up and smashed the fight with a good 30 seconds to spare. I will say this fight did feel a bit RNG depending on what setups you can get. Having Red/Black/Yellow 3 times in a row is silly.

Heroic Rags and Chestless Sinestra

Talk about a heavy week.

We couldn’t stop going into Firelands, after all Verse needed his legendary, Ere is siphoning now too, and everyone really wanted this kill. After so many phase 4 wipes tonight was the night to get it done, without losing too much time inside Dragon Soul. We had 5 or 6 sub 30% and 20% wipes, then it all came together.

Lunacy has killed Heroic Ragnaros.

Congrats to those who were in on our first kill – Ravage, Osirras, Deciphel, Discretion, Tivoli, Millana, Verse, Erethral, Vammp, Gundalf. Thank yous to those who were not in for the kill, for having the patience with us through all the rotations over the past few weeks on this guy, and helping us progress as much as we have and continue to do so – Azaer, Igotthehots, Goatblezi.

Everyone of us know how hard it is to be on the outside for an epic kill.

UPDATE: We also went in and killed Sinestra on Monday, after storming through DS. Great job everyone, we can again put our focus into Dragon Soul after the holidays have passed! Kill shot includes – Tivoli, Millana, Ravage, Azaer, Discrete, Deciphel, Erethral, Verse, Goatblezi, Gunnie.

Morchok chokless

Morchok, Morchok, Morchok, Kohcrom, you can not sit there and tell me Blizzard didn’t try to make the first boss of dragon Soul a bit of a lulz. Read his name again. Anyways, we went in after our Deathwing kill last week and cleaned this guy up after a few attempts. Could have had it faster but some pug warrior was letting us down. Good stuff had by all, moving towards more heroics. Yor’sahj and Zan’ozz better get ready, because we are coming.

Deathwing De-Feeted

After I don’t know how many sub 3% and 2% and even a 1.5% wipe, we finally got this dragon to play nicely….. and we chopped off his feet.
We just missed having this kill the previous night by less than 1000 damage, blame Tivoli for delaying us. Either way, we had an extra unscheduled attempt tonight and was all we needed as our refined strategy gave us a 1 shot.
Great Job to everyone involved with the kill. A special thanks to those who were not in, we could not have gotten this without any of you. Sorry it took us so long!
Looking forward to Heroic modes tomorrow! – Oh, we missed our SS so a few awesome people gave us theirs!

Heroic Astrozaur Plucked

It took some practice, and practice makes perfect. Alysrazor is the newest head claimed by our raid team. We decided to stick with the 3 healer approach, and in the end was a picture perfect kill, Great job from verse in the ur, and everyone else who was not in the ur. As far as loot goes, congrats to Deci on the shirt and Goat on some new mittens.

Heroic Rhyolith Melted

So, it took us some time to get this kill, but it happened and that is all that truly matters. After completely reforming our healer team. Yes, you read that right. Mysteriously we have had 2 healers in the past 3 weeks just up and disappear! So, we’ve trained some new apps, and went in and smashed this in only a couple attempts, after mindless wipes refining our strat. Good job to all. Beth and Alys, your days are numbered.
